What to have in an interview (accounting)?
I'm an accounting student who has a shorter haircut, always neatly trimmed, and my clothes are always nice. I never wear anything that would resemble pajamas outside of my home, and I am a clean freak. The only exception is my beard, which is about a 2-3 inch donegal that covers my jaw line ( I have a wear jawline/chin).
I was curious as to if the beard will hinder my career goals? I would like to work as a taxation accountant outside of industry, primarily public accounting. My beard is nicely trimmed, I shave the upper and lower lips, cheeks, and neck.

Agree with the first answer. First impressions are important. Despite a clean "cut", some hiring managers will make a few assumptions about you based on your total package. I would lose it.
Once you get hired, you can always re-evaluate this based on the environment and how others at your level and above are dressing and what they are growing :-).
Good luck!
